Includes research areas related to transplantation and the body's immune response. Specific areas of interest include immunosuppression, T cell signalling and co-stimulation, antigen presentation, tolerance induction, inflammation and lymphocyte trafficking, microsurgical techniques, stem cell development, cell-based therapies for organ regeneration, and xenotransplantation as an alternative source of cells and organs for transplantation.
