London Regional Proteomics Centre
Located within the Department of Biochemistry at Western, this centre exists to foster development of proteomics (multi-protein) and traditional (single protein structure/function/folding/interaction) studies. The facility is equipped with instrumentation for the fractionation of complex biological mixtures using chromatographic and electrophretic procedures as well as instrumentation for the subsequent analysis and processing of these samples in preparation for analysis by mass spectrometry.

The Centre consists of five individual facilities:

  1. Biological Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
  2. Biomolecular Interactions and Conformations Facility
  3. Function Genomics and Proteomics Facility
  4. Macromolecular Crystallography Facility
  5. Biomolecular NMR Laboratory
