Gene Expression Core Facility
(Skeletal Biology Laboratories)

Two instruments are available for analyses of gene expression. First, an Applied Biosystems Real Time PCR instrument, model 7900HT Sequence Detection System. This instrument is protected by a battery backup UPS. Second, a Tecan Safire microplate monochromator reader for absorption, and top and bottom fluorescence measurements. The Gene Expression Core Facilities is located at Western.
