Clinical Trials

A clinical trial is a research study involving volunteers designed to answer an important medical question. A clinical trial may compare a new type of treatment to an older type of treatment, or it may compare a standard treatment to no treatment at all.

You can have the opportunity to contribute to research by participating in a clinical trial or study. The research questions cannot be answered without the full participation and cooperation of the participants involved.
