SHARCNET High Performance Computing

Located at Western, this facility is a partnership of leading academic institutions in South Central Ontario in support of leading-edge research. SHARCNET is a consortium of colleges and universities in a "cluster of clusters" of high performance computers, linked by advanced fiber optics. The participating institutions include: Brock universities, Fanshawe College, Lakehead University, Laurentian University, McMaster University, Ontario College of Art and Design, Perimeter Institute, Sheridan College, Trent University, University of Guelph, University Ontario Institute of Technology, The University of Western Ontario, University of Windsor, Wilfred Laurier University and York University.
